the platinum system already knows how to feel expensive. this extends it into the moments money changes hands — payment feedback, split-pay language, checkout controls — without losing the composure. everything here is additive to the app style guide; nothing overrides it. rendered live, with values inline.
the surface never competes with the content. a near-black canvas, one card treatment, and a single hierarchy tool: white opacity, never gray tints. depth comes from restraint.
seven steps — 100 / 70 / 50 / 40 / 30 / 25 / 20 — carry the entire consumer hierarchy. no gray. no color for structure.
cards radius 10px CTAs, chips, inputs pill · 999px. two radii, nothing between them.
two families, cleanly split. Cormorant Garamond carries names and hero copy — the things you'd say aloud with reverence. Inter carries everything functional. serif for who & where; sans for how & when.
Inter 400 body · Inter 500 labels · Inter 700 price & CTA. checkout body text sits at 15px.
functional labels are 8–11px, uppercase, bold, tracking .15–.4em. the rule that makes it feel engraved rather than shouted: smaller = wider tracking + lower opacity. an 8px label breathes at .4em and recedes to white/20.
the house metal. a 135° gradient — #8e8e93 → #e5e4e2 → #f5f5f7 → #8e8e93 — rendered as text fill or a 1px border. it reads as brushed platinum catching light. reserved for hero & confirmation moments only — the instant a booking becomes real. everywhere else it would cheapen.
built from layered radial washes of platinum tones over #070707 — no image asset. the hero glows without ever loading a photo.
the one place color lives. a neon gradient — #BD00FF → #FF00E5 → #00D9FF — belongs to the logo mark and notification pushes. it's the brand's electric signature, and it stays there.
lock-screen pushes carry the neon mark — the only neon a guest sees outside the app icon.
logo / notifications only. never body UI, never a button, never text emphasis, and never on venue-link. inside the booking flow the neon does not exist — platinum and white opacity carry everything.
the new work. payment has three outcomes and each earns a distinct, composed treatment — success wears platinum, pending shimmers, failure speaks in the one red we allow. no spinners, no toast confetti.
pending motion — a light sweep travels the skeleton left to right: translateX(-100%) → 300% over 1.4s, ease-in-out, infinite. it says "working" without ever spinning.
the split at a glance: 3 of 5 settled, one still coming, one bounced. platinum for locked, hollow for outstanding, red for failed.
one primary action per screen, always the white pill. secondary recedes into the surface; declines go ghost so leaving is never a fight. every target clears 48px.
white pill · active:scale-95 on press
white/10 fill · border white/20
decline paths stay ghost — no border, no weight
inputs are 15px pills at min-height 48px — thumb-sized, legible, never cramped. every interactive target on a consumer surface meets the ≥48px floor.
venue-link is a public, un-branded booking surface a venue drops into their own site. it runs on this system but strips anything that would read as ATLAS Guest the app. these rules are non-negotiable on venue-link.
↑ the exact footer treatment, rendered. it sits at the base of every venue-link screen and never grows.
